APSA will be holding its Autumn forum on 28 November 2023
This will be in Birmingham, hosted by the University at their campus.
The meeting will begin at 10 am and finish by 5 pm. For those who will be staying over the night before, there will be an opportunity to meet for dinner.
The meeting will give us an opportunity to hear updates from the APSA Committee and others on recent activities, including Test for Competency, and to discuss Practical Training requirements and how to test competency outcomes.
This meeting is open to students and Professional Examiners. We are hoping that including these groups will result in a well-rounded discussion around our two focused topics, and that this will help inform future training changes being considered by ARB and RIBA.
The outline agenda is as follows:
* Update from Committee, activities since Spring Forum
* Setting the Scene
* Focused discussion on Practical Training
* Focused discussion on the Test of Competency
* General Discussion
Please let us know of any colleagues with involvement in professional studies teaching and/ or assessment who may wish to be added to APSA’s mailing list in order to be kept informed of forthcoming events and activities.
